MAGMA (the Michigan Alliance for Greater Mobility Advancement) is a State of Michigan government program that works to catch individuals, business owners, and other government organizations up to speed on emerging automotive technology. Green technology is in place as a realistic option for organizations, but without training, it is hard for employees to get on board. MAGMA works to educate others to make the future of transportation greener, cleaner, and more sustainable.
The MAGMA project was the first government project Emberly worked on, and it includes a wide range of functionality. MAGMA allows board members and advisory council members to create accounts, pay their annual membership dues, and browse a membership directory. It also includes an advanced Events calendar and Member Downloads section.
The MAGMA website takes its design cues from other automotive-industry websites, such as GM and Chrysler.
