St. John Henry Newman Institute

Founded by Rev. Robert A Sirico, the St. John Henry Newman Institute is named after St. John Henry Cardinal Newman. St. John Henry Newman was canonized a Catholic saint in 2019. Over the course of his life, he was a theologian, clergyman, academic, and writer. The St. John Henry Newman Institute (SJHNI) was founded to solve a common problem Catholic schools experience—they are unclear on how to create a healthy internal culture.

SJHNI works to give students an experience with God while creating a school community that is vibrant and alive. The SJHNI works as a nonprofit educational consulting firm that works hard to instill difficult-t0-measure qualities into the schools they work with.

For the St. John Henry Newman Institute, Emberly created a full brand identity, including a brand guide, a new logo, a color palette, and a fresh new web design. The logo is unique—it is a responsive logo, meaning it becomes more or less detailed as the browser window is resized, allowing it to be optimized for any display. Try resizing your browser window to try it yourself!

The St. John Henry Newman Institute website achieves a classical yet modern aesthetic, in keeping with their dedication to classical education for modern life.
