A landmark West Michigan company, it’s hard to go a few miles without seeing a Star Truck on the road. In the dawn of the automotive industry, Star’s first set of Bylenga brothers purchased the Star Baggage Company. Their very first freight handling was conducted by horse and buggy. Now in its fifth generation, Star Truck Rentals continues to be a family company, yet a heavy hitter in the truck rental world. With over 1000 commercial accounts, including several Fortune 500 companies, Star is a force to be reckoned with.
The Star Truck Rentals website was a labor of love. Emberly worked with the many Star departments to ensure that every group was accurately represented. The design stays true to the red/black/white palette that has represented Star Truck Rentals for many years, but it introduces some elegant mocha filters and trendy design elements.
Key elements of the new website include:
- Animate-on-hover effects for buttons and featured areas
- Form integration with conditional logic
- A historical timeline with lazy loading elements and CSS picture frames
